The 13th Annual Monterey Bay Strawberry Festival celebrated California’s largest strawberry growing region. In addition to all kinds of strawberry dishes, the event featured a variety of other foods; many arts, crafts and commercial booths; a main music stage; and a tent for family entertainment. A variety of carnival rides rounded out this medium-sized festival that draws more than 70,000 people over its three-day run.
